The Brass and Woodwind Experience at Music House
We've reimagined the private brass & woodwind lesson experience. Whether you play trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, flute or oboe, music lessons should lead the way to a musical life -- out there in the real, modern world. We acknowledge and embrace the music that students actually love. That's why at Music House, our students learn to see the direct connection between popular music and the traditional repertoire. An innovative curriculum, constant access to a dedicated faculty, performance opportunities, Workshop Bands, and a diverse array of free weekend community music classes add up to an educational experience you'll find nowhere else in Kansas City.
Woodwind & Brass lessons are scheduled weekly, for 30 or 60 minutes, and are available at our Overland Park, Lenexa, & Prairie Village locations.
If you're a beginner and interested in guitar, piano, voice, or early childhood programs, you can enroll online. If you're not a beginner or play an instrument other than those listed above, call us at 913-562-4112 or click here to schedule a time to chat with us.
Yes & No. If you’d like to give one of our many Community Classes a try, you’ll be just fine without an instrument. However, for Core Classes, Workshops, and Private Lessons you will need your own instrument to practice with. The only instruments we provide at Music House are drums, pianos, microphones, and amplifiers.
No, but many local music stores close by rent and sell instruments. Call us for recommendations.
Some lessons and classes may require materials like books and metronomes in addition to your instrument. If you're unsure of what to bring, never fear! Music House stocks most of the little things you'll need. In the rare case we don't have something, we'll direct you to the place that does.
