Piano Lessons at Music House

Who says piano lessons can't be fun? At Music House, private piano lessons take on a reimagined, modern approach -- one that embraces the music that our students love. Our curriculum emphasizes application of knowledge in real musical situations. All of our piano lesson students, beginner, intermediate, and advanced alike, feel connected to a community. Constant access to a dedicated faculty, performance opportunities, Band Workshops, and monthly jam sessions add up to an educational experience you'll find nowhere else in the Kansas City metro.

Lessons are scheduled weekly, for 30 or 60 minutes, and are available at our Johnson County locations in Overland Park, Lenexa, & Prairie Village.

Absolute beginner? We recommend starting in one of our Core Classes.

How do I sign up?

To sign up, call us at 913-562-4112 or click here to enroll. Some upper level workshops may require a brief evaluation by a program manager. Placement in non-beginner group classes may also require a brief in-person evaluation.

Do I need my own instrument?

Yes. For Core Classes, Workshops, and Private Lessons you will need your own instrument to practice with. The only instruments we provide at Music House are drums, pianos, microphones, and amplifiers.

Do you rent instruments?

No, but many local music stores close by rent and sell instruments. Call us for recommendations.

Will I need any materials?

Some lessons and classes may require materials like books and metronomes in addition to your instrument. If you're unsure of what to bring, never fear! We'll stay in touch prior to your first lesson if you have any questions.
