An Olathe native, Steve was raised in a family of music lovers. By third grade he was already in a band with other kids at his elementary school. He started off learning rock and blues on the guitar, but over the years, expanded his genres as well as instruments. After high school, he recorded his first full length album at Full Sail University. He spent some time playing professionally in Florida and Nashville, and even got a feature in Guitar Player Magazine. Over the years, Steve has always taught music and found teaching to be another big passion of his. “I find it crucial to inspire others and save them months or years of trial and error,” says Steve. Outside of music, enjoys taking astronomy courses, going to 80's and 90's arcades, and now that he’s back in his hometown, he’s looking forward to going to a ballgame.
