Kay Pritchard is a multi-instrumentalist from Northern California that specializes in drums and percussion. Kay graduated with a Bachelors in Music with a Jazz Performance concentration from California State University Stanislaus, and has experience playing drums for 13+ years. Before studying music, she was an avid band kid throughout school and had her first rock band at 13. She has taught drums and percussion for 6+ years now, and can teach a variety of genres and can tailor her teaching to any student's age, skill, and experience. Kay’s favorite part of teaching is watching her student’s eyes light up when they finally understand something or learn something new. When she is not teaching and playing music, she can be found reading, watching horror movies and Star Wars, or playing video games.
