Thomas Pribyl

Thomas Pribyl is a drummer and percussionist from Kansas City who has been playing drums since the age of 9. He received a finance degree and a music minor from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and played in jazz band and percussion ensemble while attending college. He has played in bands since 15 years old as both a studio musician and performer and has experience playing a wide variety of genres. While in Los Angeles, he studied technique and posture with Mars Volta drummer Dave Elitch and studied Afro-Cuban and Brazilian styles with percussionist Aaron Smith.

Thomas always looked forward to his lessons while growing up and credits his private lesson teachers for their pivotal role in instilling his passion for music. He strives to do the same for his students and loves seeing them progress on their instruments and develop their own unique voice.
