Teri QuinnProgram Coordinator / Senior Instructor
Multi-instrumentalist Teri Quinn is an active musician in the Kansas City music scene. After graduating from the University of Kansas City-Conservatory of Music with a degree in performance and music composition, Teri got her start composing and performing with groups such as Blackhouse Collective and indie folk-rock group Claire and the Crowded Stage. Teri regularly performs and does studio work with artists and bands across the country.
Teri’s approach to teaching is very technical with lots of room for creativity. Her goal is to give students the tools to sound the best they can while finding their own musical voice. With her experience playing woodwinds with different groups and genres, Teri enjoys showing students that it is possible to be a rock star playing a wind instrument.
