Ross Williams has taught guitar lessons for 8 years to a wide array of students, ranging from kids in band looking for another instrument, to retired adults interested in learning something new. Ross has years of gigging and teaching experience in a plethora of styles including rock, funk, R&B, pop, reggae, ska, blues, and jazz.
A former pupil of Kansas City jazz guitarist Brian Baggett, Ross learned music theory and improvisation through his jazz guitar lessons and his time as the guitarist for Washburn’s Jazz Ensemble 1. He is also the former host of an open mic night, where he and his house band frequently took requests and performed songs on the spot. Currently, Ross performs his original music in the Lawrence and Kansas City areas under the name Wild Eye.
